Shri Nishaant Singh is one of the most inspiring Teacher and an extraordinary performer. He runs his personal Institution named Samskriti Samrakshan Samsthaan at Kalimpong and runs a branch in Kolkata as well.  He holds 13 years of experience in the field of teaching. Presently he serves as a Guest Professor in the Department of Cultural Affairs, Ramakrishna Mission VidyaMandira, BelurMath, Kolkata, India. He has a wide knowledge of Lala Keval Kishan Gharana- Bengal Parampara learnt under the guidance of Pandit Chanchal Kr. Bhattacharya. Nishaant has learnt the rare compositions of Punjab gharana under the guidance of Pandit Gobinda Bose. Nishaant is now doing his research as a Fulbright Research Associate on the rare compositions of Lucknow Gharana under the guidance of Padmashree awardee Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri from Ali Akbar College of Music, San Rafael, California U.S.A.

According to the stalwarts of Indian Classical Music like Padma Shri Gundecha Brothers, Pt. Dalchand Sharma, Pt. Birju Maharaj, Ustad Aashish Khan, Pt. Uday Kumar Mallick, Nishaant Singh is the most sensible accompanying artiste in this present generation who can perform with Dhrupad Vocal, String and wind Instruments like Sarod, Santoor, Sitar, Surbahar, Rudra Veena, Mohan Veena, Violin, Viola, Flute, Saxophone, and also in a Dance form like Kathak.  Prof. Nishaant  Singh is the complete Musician to have wide knowledge about all these subjects and has trained numerous students from India and Abroad. 

THINGS THAT STUDENTS SHOULD KEEP IN MIND

 

1) Students having keen interest to know and learn this ancient prime drum of India have to have 100% dedication and patience because off track music subjects like these, it takes some time to understand and grasp the actual essence of the subject. Dedicated students won't have any age boundations. 

2) Student has to have their own instrument so that they can practice well at home after their lessons.

 

3) If the student wants to buy a new instrument, then they can contact through e-mail and place the order for a new one. Courier charges will be charged extra apart from the newly constructed Pakhawaj. 

4) Students will be added in a specific WhatsApp group so that they can discuss about the subject even after the classes are over. Our Guru will always guide the students and take them to the right path.
